Mr Singer

Meet my new pal.....

and what we've been creating together...

Finn's cloth book
All about ocean animals

Once Finn saw me making Ellowyn's cloth book, he would not rest until we made one for him, too. His was super simple (vintage fabric panel off ebay), just cut and sew. We used an old cloth terry flat nappy as the filling. He is pretty impressed, and loves helping with the "how- ing"
A Christmas stocking for each of the kids

E is for Ellowyn

Here is Ellowyn's cloth book made out of her old clothes...based loosely on theme of colours, textures and shapes. It is nowhere near finished as christmas crafts have taken over

My helpers

And while I'm here...I made my own baby rice cereal using my thermomix today, and E her first real food. She grabbed the spoon right out of my hand and started feeding herself...classic. Just like her mum.

A day in the life....

Lordy I get cuter by the day

Ninjago Spinjitsu..man these lego sets are complicated!

Grumpy snuggles

Made my day :)

Look great too

Finn & mums gingerbread house creation~ rushed job trying to complete it before Morgan the Destroyer woke up!

They ate the lollies...then chucked the gingerbread to the birds

My latest divine acquisition...

came with sleepy dust

Will have to get some better shots: that is a peace dove on the hood. I looove this, it is a mei tai made out of a Lenny Lamb Sunrise wrap

Another birthday...Harry Potter style

So Alec turned 7 a few weeks ago (I can't believe it...7!!)  He was stoked with his HP costume and spinjitsu lego. He had a great time at his party, which started with lego making and happy meals and ended with HP and the Deathly Hallows 2 and a sleepover. The boys went straight to sleep...amazing.

Expelliarmus!

Harry Potter plays Spinjitsu

It's lego mania around here

It's party time!

All the little Potter's before the movie starts

Howdy folks! Life in Karratha is going great at the moment, although it is beginning to get stinking hot. H.O.T. Lucky for me I am in the air-con, while poor old Davo has to sweat it out in the car yard...I have trained Alec so I don't have to get the whole mob out for school runs, which takes about half a bloody hour! Daves work getting better and he is on the look out for a boat so we an start exploring the archipelago, we have heard the islands are gorgeous.
Who needs  swing? Our DIY indoor fun

An update on the kidlets.

Alec has settled really well and made heaps of great friends. He goes to Joey scouts and is mad on Harry Potter, Star Wars and Lego. His reading is getting better all the time and he loves his new school. He got a mohawk yesterday...pics to follow! Turns the big 7 on Saturday with a Harry Potter Sleepover extravaganza to celebrate.

Finn is .....Finn :) He loves all the new fishing spots and was stoked to go out on a boat this morning. Hanging out for kindy next year! He can't wait to go to big kids school with his new friends up here..either can mummy

Morgan is talking really well now, and he loves is little sister, when he's not biting her or sitting on her head (!). The 3 boys play really well together...sometimes. I found the Morgster playing with maggots the other day, lovely really!

Ellowyn is changing by the day. If I put her down, turn around, she has wiggled 2 m away! This week she SAT by herself for a few minutes...WTF wasn't she just born??!! She is also assuming the crawling position and rocking...dammit. An early crawler. Think I might strap her down. She was 5 months old on Wednesday last week.

Ellowyn has gotten over her fear of my huge camera, so here are a lot of cute "look at me smiling!" shots....

Oh crap, she is on the move. My life is over.

SITTING

As for me, I have started Zen Yoga once a week, which I LOVE, and last night went to a dancing meditation group, which was so cool...I am really enjoying K-Town atm. Everyone up here is pretty realexed, and mostly friendly...our type of people.

Happy 4th Birthday Ninja Boy

It's been a crazy few days, as usual! Yesterday we received a package in the mail from Maryanne which made Finn and Morgan just explode in excitement....a birthday cake cookbook, toy fish, stickers of fish....

Morgy loves his baby sister

Then Alec said goodbye to his best mate in the whole world, VJ. Sad to see such great neighbours leave...fingers x'd our next are as great. Good luck in Useless Loop Courts!

Then Finns Bday today, started with the unwrapping...he got Ninja Turtles, ninja weapons, a bag of soft plastic lures and a fish book.

A crossbow, yay!

Ellowyn in green all ready to party TMNT style

His "forks', weapon of choice for Ninja Turtles

Getting busy decoration turtle shells & weapons

His Ninja Turtle party was heaps of fun, with everyone decorating and wearing their turtle shells and having a ball with their pool-noodle weapons.

Cowabunga dude!
